When it comes to having and owning a successful blog there are two key elements that need to be met. First, you need to create amazing and engaging content. Secondly, you need to be interactive and engage with your audience and other bloggers within your niche. Building up a community around your blog is key. 

The Importance Of Community Building

When you write and create a blog it can be started initially when starting. Even when your  blog is established it can still be a rollercoaster of highs and lows. With this being known why wouldn’t you want to build up a community of other like-minded individuals to stand in your corner and back you? 

Bloggers are creative people, they like to share, they can think outside of the box and they are the first people that will be able to share tips, experiences and offer constant success. With the shared love and passion for blogging, you will have an instant connection and can utilize this building block to set the foundation for building your community. 

It is only other bloggers that have first-hand experience and can fully relate to the ever-changing highs and lows of running a blog. They truly can relate. They will be the first to celebrate your successes and to listen and share in your disappointment when your posts aren’t receiving the desired shares or page views. Just like your life in general it is important to have a support system and people in your corner to back you. Along with the ongoing support, they will offer they are also the people that will be able to help you hone your blogging skills and help you understand and identify blogging strategies. They can take you under the wing, teach you and allow you to continue to grow both personally and within your blog. 

How To Build A Community 

The idea of meeting bloggers within your niche sounds amazing, but unless you know where to look it can be hard. The first step is putting yourself out there and making an active effort to meet other bloggers and start forming those relationships.

As you start meeting new bloggers it is important to actively make the effort to be their friend and engage with their blogs. This will put you on their radar and over time a relationship will form and they are more inclined to return the favor to you and introduce their followers to you, through the opportunity to do guest posts and either joint collaborations.
