How to Set Up the Dubsado Scheduler
With Dubsado, you can customize everything from appointment dates to the location or time it takes between appointments. You can even charge for your appointments! If you’re using Dubsado, here’s a quick walkthrough into setting up the scheduler feature:
Create a scheduler template by going to: Templates > Scheduler and clicking “Add Template.” You’ll be presented with these basic appointment options:
- Appointment name
- Appointment duration
The appointment name will be viewed by the client and you get to choose how long you want every appointment to be. Below the appointment name and duration is the “When can this appointment be scheduled?” field. You have different options for this field:
- “Rolling day” to specify the number of days to an appointment. This option prevents clients from booking too far out.
- The “Fixed Range Date,” on the other hand, lets you set a range of dates of availability so the client could simply choose the most convenient time for them.
- The “Indefinitely” option lets clients book as far out as they like.
What times are you available?
In this field, you can set different time slots for your availability for appointments. You have the option to set the availability for the next few days to several weeks. What makes Dubsado different from other schedulers is that it can connect with your external calendar to avoid any overlap in the availability dates.
If you have certain dates set on your calendar, Dubsado will sync with your calendar events and block out certain periods so clients won’t book these dates. To edit the availability period, click on a specific date, adjust the time slots then apply the changes.
Location: This field presents the link, address, or geographical info of the appointment.
Email: This features the email address that comes with the sending of the scheduler if sending a direct link.
