You've got the website, you've got the clients, you've got the reputation. Now it's time to add a few products to your website. Whether these are digital download products, service products, or physically shipped products, you can sell them through your Showit website using Shopify Lite. Shopify is a great online store tool. It lets you build up a database of products, attach a payment option, and sell them online. It is my preferred option for those who wish to sell a few items on their website. For larger stores, I would recommend integrating WooCommerce, but for 15 or fewer items, Shopify is fantastic.
Shopify has this great feature that allows you to embed “buy buttons”. What this is is a specially styled button that you can add to your Showit website (or another website also). It allows a customer to purchase an item without leaving that site, meaning they can buy something from you on your beautifully branded and designed website without having to take an ugly detour. This is fantastic for small businesses who don't want to operate more than one website, and also who don't know how to code a basic Shopify design into something magical. It allows them to easily upload on-brand products and get them out in front of customers quickly. Shopify is one of my favourite programs to use alongside Showit as it can really expand your website.
As said above, if you want to have just one very easy-to-navigate site for your small business there is an option to also have a blog embedded to your Shopify site. This can help you increase the conversion rate by adding interactive and educational posts for your audience. You can use DropInBlog to add a blog to Shopify as it provides the option to inject products into posts so your customers can easily purchase the embedded products. Also, you will have SEO Analyzer available that can help with your content marketing goals.
