If you've been in the fashion, shopping, and social media circuit for years, then you're probably no stranger to LIKEtoKNOWit. It's an online shopping platform used to centralize different shops featured in a photo. It works by tagging different products in a picture so that readers and followers can tap on these links and purchase that product without needing to search for it.
Since LIKEtoKNOW.it was launched in 2011, the service has amassed $1 billion in sales for retails and brand partners. It was used by more than 12K influencers and market leaders!
The same people behind LIKEtoKNOW.it. brought us RewardsStyle, a platform for bloggers and influencers to generate revenues from all the sales that their followers made thanks to their ~influence~
Now here’s the thing: RewardStyle’s content monetization platform and its shopping platform, LiketoKnow.it, have been unified and rebranded as LTK, a shopping, and content monetization app.
LTK (Like To Know It) brings the features that made RewardStyle and the old LIKEtoKNOW.it platforms into one powerful shopping app. The redesign and rebrand were meant to make the service simple, consistent, and easy to use. The company behind these services is gearing up for global expansion, and the rebrand was the first step towards that goal.
In essence, LTK is a massive shopping app that features curated looks as well as round-ups of popular and up-and-coming influencers and bloggers. It still features shoppable images from people you follow. There are still photos and collages that feature linked products, which you can click and buy using your mobile phone!
LTK was launched to drive digital retail sales using the company’s proprietary technology platform for managing different style brands’ eCommerce stores. At the moment, LTK boasts of 5K+ retailers on its network with access to 100K influencers from around the world. It’s home to some of the biggest names in fashion, including Missguided, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, and Matchesfashion.
You can use the LTK app to shop directly or take a screenshot of an LTK enabled image on Instagram. To check if an image is LTK enabled, you'll see the LTK icon at the lower right of an IG image.
Just download the LTK app from the Apple store or Google store and sign up for membership if you haven’t already. After signing up, you can start customizing the settings, so the content that shows up is relevant to your style or needs. Then, search for all the influencers and brands that you like. Be specific about the items, styles, or brands you want to get the most relevant results.
After growing your follow list, you can start saving items to your wish list or create a collections folder where you can save items for later, create a list of items, and share content with your friends.
When checking out the LTK enabled posts, you’ll see all the tagged items, which will appear under the “Shop the Pic” below the screen. From here, you can click on the products and shop. To “like” a product, just click the heart icon at the bottom right-hand corner of the product. That’s all there is to it! Easy, right? Go ahead and download the app and try it today!
By combining all the features that made RewardStyle and LIKEtoKNOW.it so popular among bloggers, influencers, and shoppers, LTK made shopping online so fuss-free. Earning commissions through the service has become easier because of the more consistent features. Have you tried shopping through LTK? Do you love it? Let us know. Sound off in the comments section!
