Geraldine Jackson is a health & wellbeing coach who runs some amazing retreats and programs. She came to us looking for a semi-custom website design, based on our Verona website template. This is one of our FAVOURITE templates to customise for clients. She already had a lot of blog content and a very clear idea of what direction she wanted to take her new website in. Of course we wanted to work with her on this project! Our semi-customs run Monday-Friday, so within 5 days we were able to make her website dreams a reality!

Tell me a bit about your business and what brought you to start it in the first place?

I started out as a Personal trainer and yoga instructor with a passion for exercise but when training clients I quickly noticed how many of my clients struggled with nutrition. This inspired me to become a health coach and nutrition advisor. After several years of working with clients on exercise and diet, I soon discovered not only did my clients have an unhealthy relationship with food but so did I. This started my journey to become an eating psychology coach, and through healing my own relationship to food and my body I am on a mission to help women do the same. To help women ditch dieting and find food freedom by creating healthy habits unique to them and their bodies so they can find their healthy balance. This is how the creation of FEED YOUR SOUL ACADEMY began.

 

What is one lesson that you wish you knew from the beginning?

You can not do it all yourself. It's about progress, not perfection.

 

What was your “AH-HA” moment that made you take the plunge into this business?

My lack of confidence was holding me back and just because I had struggled with food in the past I should be ashamed of it or try to hide it but actually, it made me more relatable and meant my journey to heal my relationship with food and my body can inspire others to do the same.

 

Out of all the amazing designers out there, why did you decide to work with us?

You use Showit. The turn around time was very impressive and I loved all your designs but that actually made it harder to choose 😉

 

What was your favourite part of the design process?

How straightforward, quick, and seamless the whole process has been. Absolutely incredible straight from the very first email right through to the last. Every minor detail I requested was implemented immediately plus your advice on what to do and what not to do when I needed support to make a decision. A project I had dreaded and thought was overwhelming was clear, simple, and enjoyable to watch come together. Thank you so much for a website I can't actually believe is mine. I'm absolutely thrilled with it and keep looking at it.
