Reading Time: 2 minutesWhether you have been blogging for 10 years, or 10 days, you can make money from your blog. Now I must add a disclaimer, your income will most likely be relevant to your audience size. Certainly if you are earning ad revenue. This is not a get rich quick option, it’s a way to make a bit of money passively and then build on it.
We explore:
– AdSense revenue
– Affiliate marketing
– Promotions
– Brand sponsorships
– Advertising sponsorships.
I personally use these methods within my business and blog. If you look to the right right now if you are reading on a desktop, you will see an advert in the bottom of my sidebar. I am currently making a little bit of money from that being there while you read. It’s literally pennies, but it’s completely passive. Google is paying me to display these to you. I go further into this within the podcast episode below.
I also use affiliate marketing within my blog for products and platforms I use daily within my business. These links are normally within informative “how-to” posts. Or within reviews on why this product is best suited to your business. Do remember and keep all affiliate links and promotions relevant to your niche and your audience. I do also occasionally take sponsorships for content. These are mainly on Instagram as I don’t feel I’ve yet worked with a company I deem “blog worthy” for my niche.
