When I first saw Jennifer's photography, I knew it would suit “The Susannah” Showit template perfectly! Her fine art style deserves a classic yet minimal design so that her photography can do all the talking. We paired her images up with a very pale tone of blue to compliment her light & airy style.

Tell me a bit about your business and what brought you to start it in the first place?
I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Columbus, Ohio. I took photography classes in college while pursuing my bachelors degree in Fine Art, and that’s how I became introduced to the medium! However, I hadn’t considered wedding photography as a career until a friend asked me to photograph a wedding that she was in. After that wedding, I realised how much I loved photographing everything that goes into a wedding- the details, the emotion, the love.
What is one lesson that you wish you knew from the beginning?
I don’t know if I have a particular lesson, other than when you’re a wedding photographer, you also have a million other jobs besides photographing…I do wish I had known in college that wedding photography was where my heart is. I didn’t feel like I had a particular style or calling back then, and wedding and portrait photography wasn’t really emphasised as a career.
What was your “AH-HA” moment that made you take the plunge into this business?
Once I photographed my first wedding, I had two more friends ask me to photograph their weddings…and it just kind of kept going!
Was there anything in particular that drew you to our template store?
I love the elegance and clean design of your templates!
How did you find our customisation process?
The customisation process was incredibly easy. Gillian took my ideas and made them happen without issue, and easily transitioned my content onto the template. She gave me clear directions on what I needed to do each step of the way, and I loved her video updates – it made the process so much more personal, even though we are collaborating from two different countries!
