Do you want to know how I have engaged with my audience and redirected traffic to exactly the product that suits them? An integrated quiz!!

This week I’ve been playing around with Interact – an online quiz builder – and oh my have I been amazed! For starters I’ve been able to create a quiz that gives extremely accurate answers based upon all of the questions asked. Yes there is the option to create answers based upon a point system (e.g answer 1 is 3 points, answer 2 is 5 points, adding all your answers together gives you your result), but I have been using their “branching logic” function. What this means is that if someone tells me they are a photographer, I can take them through a series of questions based purely for photographers, keeping my quiz relevent and very specific at all times – AMAZING RIGHT! Not only does this keep people interested while interacting with your quiz, but it also means they will actually end up caring about their answer.

Yes it’s a fun quiz to fill out and it will entertain you for a minute or two, but here’s what it does for me:

• It is a great lead capture, you give them the option to hand over their email address along side permission to market to them.
• Not only have they given me their email address, but Interact has also copied their quiz result through to my Mailchimp account along with their information! This is absolutely fantastic, as it means I can market to people based upon their results. For example, if you have taken my quiz and received the result of “WordPress Website Template”, what this means is I can now send everyone who has received that result a message when I release a new WordPress Website Template and I know it will be relevant to them. The same works for if I have an offer on custom Showit websites or templates.
• I am directing my traffic to all the right places. The quiz takes your answers and categorises them, so for example, if you tell me your budget is < £200 then your answer will be somewhere in the template region, redirecting you to the template store. If your answer is around £1,000 then it falls into the price bracket of custom work, leading you to the contact form to get in touch with me. This means I no longer have custom work requests from people asking me to “do-them-a-deal”. It is also greatly increasing my template sales.
• It has taken a lot of new traffic to my website. Traffic who wouldn’t necessarly have seen me before, but my quiz has been shared to them. This means I am getting new leads I might not have come across, and I am also having other essentially advertise for me!

So far I have found no faults with Interact, it seems to be an excellent add-on to my website. It’s easy to use, easy to integrate, and extremely easy to market through. If you offer more than one type of service then I would highly recommend it for redirecting your customers, and if not then I would even recommend it for a fun and memorable feature for your website!

The best thing about it is you can sign up completely for free and try it all out, see if it is the correct fit for you, and only when you love it you can upgrade to turn on the lead capture functions. Come on, what have you got to loose!
