Reading Time: 5 minutesLet's be honest, my business is based heavily on stock images. You don't honestly think I take all of these beautiful photographs on my website, social media and website templates do you? That would be hundreds of hours of work at a skill level I simply don't have. I use approximately 25 images a month on Instagram, around 30 per website template I release, and I even occasionally source them for client website builds. All of this adds up really quickly! So where do I find so many images, images that mean everything I post is different, but it also looks cohesive. Well, over the past 3 years I've build up such an amazing styled stock image collection that it will surely blow you away! And the best bit, I'm about to tell you all about it.
Remember, having some great stock image resources under your belt can help boost your brand. Using the same style of images consistently will make you seem a lot more credible.
Let's start with my favourite memberships. Stock image memberships are a great way to get cohesive content as the photographers style will be the same through the image bundles. It also means there will most likely be a large variety of topics within the images as they are having to make a lot of content in order to sustain their membership. Below are my favourite membership, along with the pro's and cons of them.

I know, I know, why does someone need three stock image memberships! I'm crazy, right? Not only do I use a lot of memberships, but I also love images and bundles from other providers. I have over 130GB of just stock images (the ones I actually like and use) on my hard-drive. Today I'm using this strange obsession to help you all out. Now let's move onto my individual purchases and bundles I love.
Although I found these two lovely ladies separately, I'm convinced they work together. They have similar styles and even have similar image set-ups. I've also noticed they have shot in the same venues with the same models and props. While it's not confirmed they actually work together, I tend to treat them like one business. Their images are just stunning and you will recognise a lot of them from my WordPress templates and Instagram. If these ladies ever released a membership website, I would 100% join it as I buy all of their bundles anyway!
Simple. Classic. Mock-ups. I love Moyo Studio! Everything they release is so neutral and clean. I feel like I could almost add their stock images to anyones brand and they would just go perfectly. They also have a few scene creator packages with loose items you can arrange as you wish. I find this perfect for showing off client work as I can change the background colours and feature my favourite parts of their new websites and branding.
To be honest, I don't use Styled Stock House images that often. I'm not a part of her membership and I don't buy too many images. But from what I've used and seen, her images are stunning! She has such a great choice of colour palettes and so many themes. I am part of her mailing list and she loves to send out freebies from new collections, it's totally worth signing up!
[ EDIT: I am now a Social Squares member, and I'm obsessed! ]
Like Kate Max, this is not one I personally use often, but I would seriously recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful stock images. Shay takes such amazing images and they are so clean and professional looking. Again, join her mailing list, there are always so many great freebies to be had!
Pexels is my favourite resource for free stock images! They have such a large collection from photographers all over the world, so there are infinite themes, colours and styles available. They are also all completely free but with the option to donate to the artist if you so wish. Definitely worth a look!
Pikwizard is another free stock image resource that has just launched. With over 100,000 free images to choose from, they are are a fantastic option for those just starting out who don't have the big bucks to drop on image packs or subscriptions. There is sure to be something for everyone on here!

Thanks for sharing! High quality images can really make a difference in marketing materials. I’ve been struggling to find good images for my website redesign. These resources are a lifesaver.
