The Farmhouse Life is a home and lifestyle blog, ran by the fabulous Korilyn Martin. Kori and her family purchased a 1700’s colonial farmhouse and moved out of the city to pursue #FarmLife. She has spend her time and energy renovating the beautiful house to turn it onto a home for her family. In making the move to the farmhouse life, she's also acquired a collection of animals; pigs, chickens, turkeys, a bunch of cats, and a dog. I personally am in love with the pigs!
Korilyn uses her blog to share her renovations, DIY's and style tips. Everything from seasonal to daily tricks. I love how she build her house around her children and always makes their space special for them! She's definitely one to keep an eye on.
I'm a blogger – Influencer – and E-designer. I came to Gillian because it was time to take my site up a notch. I'm a DIYer and did the best I could… but without the background in design, I felt I went as far as I could.
Gillian taught me how important a sidebar is in my blog posts for getting new subscribers. I was having such trouble with my old theme that one day my sidebar disappeared and I didn't bother setting it back up. Gillian answered all of my questions.. even when they came one after another and in a million different emails. I never even noticed the time difference… She always seemed to be around when I needed her!
When my husband and I bought our home that was built in the 1700s I started documenting the renovation process on social media. It turned out people were really interested in it! So that's when I decided to start a blog… and that snowballed into E-design. I hope it keeps on rolling into an online store in the next year!
Gillian is just so talented … I fell in love with all the designs on her site! But what really got me was her tenacity. She saw my work and became my number one fan! Her vision for my new site was instantaneous and I became a believer. I'll come back time and time again because with Gillian you'll not only getting an incredible designer but a visionary and your biggest cheerleader.
My favourite part of the design process was definitely the initial mood board. Somehow she knew what I hoped to accomplish and was able to get it all down. As soon as I saw that board I knew that I had made the right decision In deciding to rebrand.
