No matter the industry you’re working in, you want your people to do well, and training is one of the ways to do that – but what about you? You may be the leader of the company but you still have to think about improving your own skills. 

Every single business owner has to work on their skills as much as they encourage their people to work on theirs. Going to training sessions with STL or taking on a Masters degree – either way, you need to improve your skills. You don't know everything as a manager, and it’s naive to think that you do. You should be excited to work on your resume, your skills and improve who you are as a leader. The more you improve yourself, the more your team will want to improve along with you.
