For bloggers and creatives who want to get the most out of their websites, we highly suggest investing in growing your newsletter list. While having a strong following on social media sites like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or Pinterest will get you a lot of traffic, features can be pretty limiting. You can tweak the settings here and there but that’s about it. Also, these social media sites could change the rules at the drop of a hat and you don’t really have much choice but to adapt to these rules.

On the other hand, creating newsletters gives you complete control over the content and design of your content. You can control how subscribers see your business because you have creative freedom. You know people are genuinely interested in what you have to offer because they signed up for the newsletter.

Flodesk VS Other Email Marketing Platforms

Of course, it takes a solid newsletter platform to achieve email marketing success. If you’ve been using older email marketing platforms like MailChimp or Aweber and find that these services do not have the newsletter templates that suit your brand then perhaps you should switch to a better email marketing platform, one that can present your business exactly the way you want to with gorgeous templates, like Flodesk.

Why make the Switch to Flodesk?

It’s Affordable: Services like Aweber or MailChimp tend to offer different subscriptions depending on the number of subscribers. Tips to a Successful Newsletter Marketing

It will take a game plan to grow your newsletter and build a sizable email list. This goes no matter what email marketing platform you use. Here are some tips that will help you get the most out of Flodesk:

An irresistible offer: Readers won’t gladly give their contact information to anyone, not especially online. To get people to sign up for your newsletter, you have to sweeten the deal with a freebie. The freebie doesn’t have to be something pricey; it’s just a small incentive that would nudge your readers in the right direction. A small discount, an ebook, a short email course, or even a gift card should be enough to get people to sign up for exclusive content.

A warm welcome: Welcoming your newest subscribers take more than a short welcome email. The copy should be warm and friendly; it should outline vital infos about your business, including what people can expect from subscribing to your exclusive content. You need a welcome sequence to give the impression that you’ve put a lot of thought into it and that you’re happy to have them in the fold.

Start with an introduction, then provide the freebie right away. Foll000ow up with helpful content like how-tos, tutorials, or tips, then offer another freebie. After the second email, a more general email can be sent out to show people what your brand is all about.

Offer Quality and Exclusivity: People won’t sign up for something if they’re not getting something out of it. If you want readers to give up their emails, you should offer something truly worth signing up for. Exclusive, high-quality content is key to a successful newsletter. If you’re publishing the same content they see on your blog site, they won’t bother signing up for your newsletter. Providing valuable and exclusive content attracts subscribers and keeps them from staying subscribed!
