This past week I have had the utter joy of working along side Kelly Hutcheson to put together her brand new website, customised from one of our Gillian Sarah Website Templates. Kelly is a wonderful woman who coaches parents who are struggling with their children and helps them live their best lives. She came to me looking for a brand new website to run her business on after she was recommended to my template store. She was a little nervous about setting up her new website as – sorry Kelly – she is not the most tech savvy person when it comes to sites. However as you can see by her review (one of my favourite testimonials of all time by the way!), she's left with not only a great website that matches her brand perfectly, but also a sense of how to run and update it also.

Tell me a bit about your business and what brought you to start it in the first place?
I'm a counsellor, life coach and teacher who loves to help moms! I am passionate about teaching moms how to get their kids to listen without ever having to yell. The way I teach builds connection and when parents have connection with their kids they will naturally have cooperation!!
What is one lesson that you wish you knew from the beginning?
I felt like I was a really good teacher to my primary students and a superb counsellor when I worked in the schools so I thought parenting was going to be a natural and organic leap because of my 20 years of experience working with children. The exact opposite happened and I struggled for many years as a mom. Until I didn't. I cracked the code on parenting and am desperately passionate about paying this forward to other moms. Dads too!
What was your “AH-HA” moment that made you take the plunge into this business?
I struggled as a mom for the first few years in my journey and I read a transformational book called “The Conscious Parent” By Dr. Shefali that hit me like a lightning bolt in my life. After implementing all that I learned in that book, I was a completely different mom and our relationship got easier and lighter instead of strained and heavy like it was before. Ive been put on this earth to pay this forward!!
Was there anything in particular that drew you to our template store?
I saw your name on Julie Ciardi's site and after scouring your site I found that it was filled with so many resources and free content and I loved your fun loving personality so I was hooked for life!
How did you find our customisation process?
AMAZING! SIMPLE! EFFICIENT! BEAUTIFUL! I had a really bad experience with another web developer and had a bad taste in my mouth after she took all my money and ran. Literally. I was scared to put money down again and you reassured me over and over it was the right decision by your incredible help and quick turnaround time! You held my hand when I was learning to become an Astronaut! It was scary to go to Mars alone so having you with me made all the difference!!!
