Jenna Lloyd started up her business with the main goal of helping other start-ups. Her aim was to help them get the correct foundations to build their business on, helping them save time and money. As a nurse who specialises in training, she's always wanting to help other people. “Catch one Rabbit” was the perfect opportunity to combine these skills out-with the health industry.

 

 

 

 

Tell me a bit about your business and what brought you to start it in the first place?

Training for nurses and care staff. I started it as felt there was a culture of presumed prior knowledge and lack of support. So I started care training.  With the business experience and nightmares I have had I have decided to start online training, consultancy for business new starts and support them to not lose as much time or wonga as I have. Still helping people just not how I thought I would.

 

What is one lesson that you wish you knew from the beginning?

Set clear boundaries.

 

What was your “AH-HA” moment that made you take the plunge into this business?

An exceptionally unsupportive regional manager made me think why am I doing this? Why put my all into care when you are not caring about me.  The business support was – final straw – I had set clear expectations, made attempts for the people working on the project to discuss our responsibilities. FAILED LOL. And apparently my lack of knowledge means that's my fault. I don't take my car to the garage and tell the mechanic how to fix. I am relying on their experience and expertise. So i just had enough.

 

Out of all the amazing designers out there, why did you decide to work with us?

By accident. I purchased theme. Had a problem. Contacted Gillian. Great support. Looked through your design page. And ta'dah! I have an ace designer contact!

 

What was your favourite part of the design process?

Speed. Transparency. Depth of wanting info about the business. End product.
