I'm thrilled to announce the launch of the brand new “Build a Cozy Home” blog by Bryanna and Brent. It's an exciting new venture for them, and they've chosen our “Lorna” Showit template to get started. Let me tell you, it looks absolutely stunning!
I had the pleasure of working with Bryanna to set everything up, and I must say, it was a lot of fun. I'm confident that this new blog will bring a lot of joy and inspiration to its readers, and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us. Gillian was amazing at building our blog. She went above and beyond and added things into it we didn't even know we needed. We are new to the blogging world and her expertise in blog building impressed us so much. We feel like we have a blog that is going to succeed beyond what we thought. She also has a youtube channel with so much information on how to navigate your blog after it's built and for long term upkeep. We also had a few questions after our site build week was over and she quickly responded to all of our questions. We asked Bryanna a few questions:
Tell me a bit about your business and what brought you to start it in the first place?
My business DIY for your home!!! The pandemic left me jobless, and I needed an outlet while at home. I started posting my DIY projects and people liked it so I went ahead and kept posting. That’s how I got to where I am now and making an income from it!
What is one lesson that you wish you knew from the beginning?
What a successful blog really needed to be profitable. The first blog I built myself and it was not driving any traffic or making me money for 2 years.
What was your “AH-HA” moment that made you take the plunge with a new site design?
When I met up with a friend who told me her blogging business of 9 years is her and her husband's main source of income.
Out of all the amazing designers out there, why did you decide to work with us?
I saw that you built a website for another DIYer and fell in love with it. Reading through your site helped me see that you were the lady for the job. We needed someone who is knowledgeable in how blogs work and make money. We knew you would set it up the way it needed to be successful.
What was your favourite part of the design process?
Waking up Monday morning and seeing you had already put together a rough draft. We loved getting to see a sneak peak and it got us so excited for the entire build week!!!
