Reading Time: 3 minutesWe are all so fortunate to be living right now. The online world is booming, so there are so many different ways you can make an income with your brand.
No matter what stage you are at, once you have your niche mapped out, are posting consistent content & have a small following, you can start to monetize.
Have a favorite brand? See if they offer an affiliate program. An affiliate program means you share their product via a link created for you; then, if anyone uses your connection to make a purchase, you receive a small commission. A great place to start with this is Amazon Associates. If you love a product & are recommending it anyway, you may as well get paid for it.
Have another brand pay you to feature them on your blog. Many brands are looking for new content creators to get their products to a new audience. Each sponsored post works differently; some brands may want to see your content before posting it. Others will give you complete editorial control & you can also negotiate where you will share the content, such as on your blog, in a video, or on social media. When considering a brand to feature, ensure it’s something you love, as it’s always essential to keep your integrity with your audience. Also, remember to always use “ad” on any content with a paid element.
Have a blog that is getting a good amount of views each month? You could add advertising to your blog. Here, you set the rates & a brand will have an ad on your website for as long as you agree. Before reaching out to any brands, I recommend putting together a rates sheet that includes your prices & stats. Like sponsored posts, you can reach out to brands to do this.
If you want to create something for yourself that can bring you income, digital products are a great way to do this. You set the price depending on the value you believe it will bring to your audience. A few examples which may fit into your niche include ebooks, downloadable files & courses.
Ready to build something your customers can hold in their hands? Create your own products. You can make so many physical products, depending on your niche. You can make them yourself or outsource the making. There is often more of an outlay for physical products when it comes to development than some of the other options, but it is enjoyable to see your creations come to life!
What are your skills & can you offer them? People are often looking for services to help them with their own businesses, whether you can offer graphic design, website design, blogging, social media management, or something else. As someone building your own brand, you will have picked up many skills that you can offer to other people.
These are a few of my favorite ways to make more income for your brand. What do you currently offer or are thinking about adding to your brand to create more money in your life?
