Iv Design offers both in-person and online consultation and design services, which is part of what makes her so great! It was so much fun working with Ivonka to out this all together and help bring her vision to life! The website truly has all of the functions: information, service offerings, portfolio, blogs, and even an online store where she sells her cushions.
Tell me a bit about your business and what brought you to start it in the first place?
Iv Design is a full-service interior design firm creating beautiful and functional spaces for residential and commercial projects!
I have a strong background in commercial and residential design and a passion for remodelling. I fell in love with the renovating process when I purchased my first property that wasn't so great but it had great potential. I decided to make it look beautiful and I ripped it down to the studs and designed everything from scratch. I know how stressful and overwhelming this process can get so I decided to create Iv Design, an interior design company, to help people transform their houses into their dream homes and make this process enjoyable for them. I think it's a great feeling to have someone guide you through the design and renovating process that you can always turn to for help or valuable advice.
What is one lesson that you wish you knew from the beginning?
That there is always a solution! That no matter what roadblock I see there is always a way to find a satisfying solution!
What was your “AH-HA” moment that made you take the plunge into this business?
When I remodelled my 1st apartment and I realized how much hard work and design experience it took to make this transformation.
