I am thrilled to share the new blog design for Carolyn Covington, a wine expert and travel / lifestyle blogger. Turns out Carolyn is living my dream life! Traveling all around the world sampling different wines. Sign me up! She is sharing all about her expertise on her new blog Carolyn Covington (rebranded from The American Wine Girl).
This blog design is both light and clean, while also being interesting and attractive to readers. It's easy to navigate and – if I do say so myself – is so so pretty! It's also got a great page where Carolyn can offer her wine tasting services to clients.
This was such a great project to work on. I'm a big fan of wine, and Carolyn already had so much gorgeous content to play around with, which always makes my life a lot easier. I'm so proud of what we have created together!

Tell me a bit about your business and what brought you to start it in the first place?
I started my wine tasting business as a way to educate young people on wine and make it approachable and fun!
What is one lesson that you wish you knew from the beginning?
It takes a lot of consistency and persistence to succeed! I also think it's important to educate yourself the best you can because it only makes your job easy and more enjoyable!
What was your “AH-HA” moment that made you take the plunge into this business?
When I came up with my initial name “American Wine Girl” it really hit me that this could be a big success!
Out of all the amazing designers out there, why did you decide to work with us?
I love the clean look and how functional the website you create are! For me it was about design but also functionality so that it made people want to spend a lot of time on my website and enjoy browsing through my content.
What was your favourite part of the design process?
Communication was spot on and Gillian really nailed down what I wanted for my design! I'm so happy with how everything turned out.
